The Fairways at Lakeside Community Association, Inc. is a neighborhood of 92 single-family homes bordering on scenic Jacobson Lake, next to Jacobson Park and the Lakeside Golf Course, in Lexington, KY. Located near major shopping areas, including Hamburg Pavilion, and near major roads including I-75, New Circle Rd, Man-O-War Blvd., and Richmond Rd, it is still a quiet location with low traffic and no through streets. Uniform deed restrictions help maintain the pleasant character.

Regular Board of Directors' meetings, open to all Homeowners/Association members, are normally held at 7PM on the third Wednesday of each month (unless rescheduled or cancelled). If you plan to attend, please contact FALCA President, Robin Gall, via phone or email for meeting place information and so that additional accommodations can be made.

The annual Association Fee is currently $100 and is due by January 31 of each year.

Coyote sighting on Fair Ridge

During the week of March31 - April 4, 2014, there was a sighting of a coyote running on Fair Ridge.  Please be sure to watch your children and small pets.  LFUCG Animal Control was contacted and will be patrolling the neighborhood.  Animal Control has asked that they be called immediately if there is another sighting - they can be reached at 859-255-9033.

UpDate:  Special meeting

Thank you to everyone who participated in person or by proxy in the Special Meeting on June 3rd to discuss and vote on the Board proposed amendment to The Fairways at Lakeside Community Association Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, Section 27 regarding Street Parking.  62 homes were represented and voiced an opinion on the proposed amendment.  The proposed amendment was not passed, as the required 69 votes in favor were not received.  However, the overwhelming majority of votes cast were in favor of passage of the amendment (58 in favor and 4 against).  Numerous questions were asked and answered and there was lengthy discussion on the situation.  The meeting ended with several homeowners requesting that the Board present the proposed amendment again for a vote.

Another Special Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 9th at 7:00 pm to once again vote on this proposed amendment.  Please complete, sign and return a proxy statement so that your vote in favor or against the proposed amendment can be counted.   Please return proxy statements to Dawn Stice, FALCA Secretary, no later than September 6, 2014 at 7:00 pm in order to be counted.  In order for the proposed amendment to pass, 75% of all homeowners must vote in favor of the proposed amendment.  Please contact a Director or Officer with any questions or to submit your proxy.
